As energy prices continue to rise, many households are looking for ways to reduce their fuel bills and make their homes more energy efficient. If you’re wondering whether you could lower your energy costs or if you’re eligible for support to insulate your home, there is help available. The aim is to reduce fuel costs, help you keep warmer this winter, and provide assistance if you are struggling with energy providers or debts related to energy bills.
Starting from 11th September, energy advisors from SCARF and The HEAT Project will be available every Wednesday from 10am to 12 noon at The Hub. They will be offering free advice on a range of energy-related issues. No appointment is needed, and you can visit them in the reception area during these hours to get personalised support.
In addition to energy advice, The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) will also be offering support at The Hub on Thursdays between 10am and 1pm. Pre-booking is advised for the CAB service to ensure that you receive the help you need.
If you would like to book an appointment with CAB or find out more information about the services available, you can contact The Hub at 01738 444061 or email them at reception@letham4all.org.uk.
