Letham is gearing up for a full afternoon and evening of Christmas celebrations as The Hub on Amulree Road prepares to host its annual Christmas Tree Light Switch On. The event will take place on Saturday 13 December from 2pm until 8pm, transforming the venue into a lively hub of festive activity for all ages.
The programme begins at 2pm with fun crafts and face painting delivered by Families Empowering Communities. From 4pm until 6pm, Perth Gospel Hall will lead games and craft activities designed to engage young people and families alike.
At 3.15pm, visitors can enjoy a lively puppet performance by Puppets with a Mission, promising an entertaining show for children in the run-up to the evening’s celebrations. From 5pm to 6pm, Perth Rock Choir will take to the stage, filling The Hub with Christmas songs and encouraging everyone to sing along.
The Christmas Tree Light Switch On will take place at 6pm outdoors, accompanied by traditional carols. Attendees are invited to join in with the singing, with the poster hinting that Santa may even hear the crowd and make a surprise appearance.
To round off the evening, Bruce Entertainments will host disco fun inside The Hub, keeping families dancing until the event concludes at 8pm.
Organisers are inviting the local community to come together, get creative, enjoy the performances, and end the night with a festive boogie. The event is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for all ages, bringing seasonal spirit to the heart of Letham.
